I am Didi- Thirty-something, colour-obsessed, chocoholic, partner of Rich, Mother of Otis, and a huge fan of all things sustainability!
Sustainable Deeds is the space in which I document my family’s sustainability journey with the aim of sharing my knowledge, ideas and musings to inspire you and your own sustainable living journey. My shop is a curated collection of items that I love and use in my daily life. Specialising in functional, handmade and ethically produced items that are built to last.
After slowly becoming aware of politics, environmental issues, and global challenges through my teens, I have spent the past 15 years exploring ways to live in ethical and environmentally conscious ways. In 2016 I decided to further my knowledge by studying for an MSc in Sustainability from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. This is by far one of the best things I have ever done as it completely opened my mind to a whole host of subjects including climate science, ethical finance systems, food systems, manufacturing and environmental policy and legislation.
I have now settled in the beautiful county of Cornwall, with my partner Rich, and our son, Otis. We are very slowly renovating our mid-17th century house and enjoying growing our own food on our allotment. As a family, we follow a vegan diet, and we make sure we get outside into nature at every possible opportunity.
Please get in touch with me if you would like to know more about the services that I can offer to businesses and organisations or if you have a product that you think I might want to stock.
