I am Didi, a thirty-something individual travelling through life in the most environmentally conscious and sustainable way that I can. Sustainable Deeds is the space in which I document my sustainability journey with the aim of sharing my knowledge, ideas and musings with you lovely readers.
After slowly becoming aware of politics, environmental issues, and global challenges through my teens, I have spent the past ten years exploring ways to live in ethical and environmentally conscious ways. In 2016 I decided to further my knowledge by studying for a MSc Sustainability from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. This is by far one of the best things I have ever done as it completely opened my mind to a whole host of subjects including climate science, ethical finance systems, food systems, manufacturing and environmental policy and legislation.
I have now settled in the beautiful county of Cornwall, with my partner. We are very slowly renovating our mid 17th century house and enjoying growing our own food on our allotment. We both follow a vegan diet and do not have children yet, but where possible I will try and make my hints and tips applicable to families as well as adult-only set ups.
Through Sustainable Deeds I aim to inspire, educate and support individuals and businesses to become more sustainable and environmentally conscious. Please get in touch with me if you would like to know more about the services that I can offer to businesses and organisations.
