When I first embarked on my journey into sustainable living I quickly realised how much i wanted to share my new discoveries with my friends and family. However my excitement over new companies or products can sometimes come across as a bit overwhelming!! So I have been delighted with my latest discovery as it provides an excellent way to give the products I am passionate about to my friends and family as a gift that they can enjoy in their own time, without my loud excitement to overwhelm them!

Eco Honesty is a brand new online market place dedicated to showcasing environmentally friendly and ethical companies. Not content with stopping there, Eco Honestly also donate 5% from each sale to three environmental and social charities. This is exactly the sort of online market place that I can support.

A hamper of sustainable home and body products

I was very kindly gifted one of their ‘Small is Beautiful’ boxes which contains five products. There are a few options to customise the contents of the box which is great because it really allows you to tailor the box to your recipient. My box contained the following:

  • A glass jar of fennel flavoured truth paste
  • A Suddy Nora shampoo bar
  • An Ecoegg
  • A peach and passion fruit moisturiser by Essential Creams
  • A pack of Cocoa Loco raspberry chocolate pigs
A hamper of sustainable home and body products

As a little extra I was also gifted a bottle of tea tree and lemongrass hand wash made by Forest Hog.

I have been intrigued about the Ecoegg for some time now, so I really interested to try that out and see how it compares to the soap nuts that I currently use for my laundry. Truthpaste has also been on my list of things to try for a while. Both the shampoo bar and the moisturiser are made within a few miles of where I live, yet i’d never heard of either of those companies so its been great to learn about new local suppliers that I can support.

A package wrapped in coloured tissue paper

The gift box itself came beautifully packaged in a simple white cardboard box that gave nothing away about the excitement it contained! On opening the box I was greeted by the colour pop of green and red tissue paper which cleverly disguised the contents of the box, further adding to the anticipation. The products are nestled into a bed of paper straw, which is so simple and sets the products off really nicely. The whole experience of opening this gift is really lovely and the mix of products that will treat the body and the home gives a real sense of making the recipient feel special.

This box retails at £39 but is currently reduced slightly so its a perfect time to purchase one if you have a family member or friends birthday coming up, or even just for yourself if you fancy a treat.

Please note that these items were gifted to me by Eco Honesty but this is not a paid advert.
