Are you on the hunt for plastic free christmas gifts this year… then I’m here to help!
Christmas is a magical time of year, but unfortunately its becoming increasingly wasteful and plastic filled. But, it doesn’t have to be like this. We have a gorgeous range of wooden educational toys that are perfect to encourage some good old fashioned outdoor family fun!
Grab yourself a cuppa and a festive treat and have a lovely browse through our top gift ideas…
Baby (0-12 Months)
New babies at christmas time are just the best aren’t they!?
If you have a new addition to buy for this year, these nature themed gift sets are a lovely option. Each gift set contains a rattle, dummy clip and teether made from beech wood and crocheted cotton.
Toddler (3-5 years)
Little ones love making discoveries on country walks or even just in their own back garden. A great way to get the whole family engaged is a good old fashioned scavenger hunt. These beautifully hand made kits make it easy and fun to do a scavenger hunt.
The perfect activity to pop in your backpack for impromptu adventures!
Children (5-12yrs)
Have you got a child who likes getting their hands dirty? Then this could be the ideal gift for them.
A completely plastic free gardening activity kit.
Growing seeds is an excellent way to engage children in where their food comes from. This kit has everything you’ll need to get going in the garden, or on a sunny window sill!
Books are one of my favourite gifts to give and receive. Encouraging children to read is so important and this nature themed story is a wonderful book to share together.
There are two books in this series, the other being Mia Makes a Meadow which is also available in the shop.

Stocking Fillers
Stockings are the classic place to find cheaply made plastic toys at Christmas! But they can just as easily be filled with eco and sustainable treasures.
We have a range of plantable wildflower seed paper shapes in our shop. A perfect way for children of any age to grow their own flowers.
Hopefully that’s ticked a gift or two off of your list! Christmas has become such a busy time of year, with gift buying, food shopping, school plays and lots of family and friends to see. To try and do all that sustainably can easily feel like a stretch too far! Supporting independent businesses and makers is an excellent way to make your christmas more sustainable. Even if its just one or two gifts that are sustainably made or plastic free, or buying some of your christmas veg from a local shop- it all helps!
I hope you have a truly wonderful Christmas!
